Standard Ethics ® is a Self-Regulated Sustainability Rating Agency

As a brand, Standard Ethics has been making a name for itself in the world of Sustainable Finance and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) studies since 2004.

The name was chosen to convey that if there is to be an ethic behind extra-financial policies, then it should be a shared, global, standard ethic: that which already unites the supranational organisations. The European Union flag, which best symbolizes this unity, was the inspiration behind our logo and the reason for the Standard Ethics Rating.

Standard Ethics aims to promote Sustainability and governance standard principles as recommended by those supranational organisations, namely the European Union, the OECD and the United Nations
